Dear Liberal Elite: Keep the Palestinians OUT OF IT!

I am so tired of the "liberal elite." I can't stand how this small (but loud) group of people have hijacked the term "liberal." And I am especially tired of the Arabs who are part of this "liberal elite" who go around pretending to care for the people when in reality they are supporting tyrannical and murderous regimes due to the false notion that this regime will somehow be responsible for the liberation of Palestine. Give me a break! You know who you are and I am tired of listening to your nonsense! Bashar al-Assad will not be anyone's savior. And I am sick and tired of Arab "leaders" and countries using the Palestinians as pawns to further their agenda. However, it's not only dictatorship regimes that continue to use the Palestinian struggle for their benefit, but now we have a group of Arabs (Arab liberal elite) who are further perpetuating these false ideas. These Arabs believe that getting rid of Bashar would be bad for the "mokawama" or "resistance" against Israel. What resistance are these people talking about? Bashar al-Assad will not liberate Palestine.  Any "leader" who is willing to torture, maim, and kill his own people will NEVER succeed. And as a Palestinian, I do not want to be "liberated" or believe in the idea that this murderer will one day be responsible for the liberation of Palestine if it means he has to oppress and kill his own people. No, thank you.
